Project: Liquid Force – Raph Derome Pro Model Wakeboard (2018)
I had the opportunity to work with Liquid Force to design the 2018 Pro Model wakeboard for professional rider Raph Derome. After researching Raph’s style and approach to the sport, it became clear that a sleek, stealth-inspired aesthetic would best represent his persona. The final design features a clean, matte black look with refined, subtle detailing to reflect that vision.
To elevate the minimalism, strategic knockouts in the topsheet reveal the treated wood layer beneath—adding visual interest and contrast without overwhelming the design. The result is a board that feels both bold and understated, perfectly aligned with Raph’s identity and Liquid Force’s premium product line.
