I proposed the concept of creating a zine/lookbook for 3DR to showcase the brand from a fresh, more human-centered perspective. As a tech startup, 3DR’s communications had primarily focused on the technology itself, emphasizing product innovation and technical capabilities. However, drones often carry a certain public stigma, and their perception can be somewhat controversial.
With this project, my goal was to shift the narrative by highlighting the human side of drone technology—focusing on how people interact with their drones and the unique ways they use 3DR’s Solo. While the technology remains an important element, it plays a supporting role, allowing the human stories and experiences to take center stage.
